The African Football Confederation (CAF) has extended the deadline for clubs participating in the CAF Champions League and Confederation Cup to register their players until Thursday, July 25th.
The initial deadline of July 20th has been pushed back by five days, giving teams more time to finalize their squads for the upcoming competitions.
Ghana Premier League champions FC Samartex and Ghana FA Cup champions Nsoatreman FC, who will be representing Ghana in the respective tournaments, will benefit from the extension.
Both clubs have been busy bolstering their squads with new signings ahead of their continental debuts.
With additional time to register their players, they can now focus on intense preseason training sessions to prepare for the competitions set to kick off in August.
