Shikabala will miss the final of the 2023-24 CAF Confederation Cup. The 38-year-old missed the second leg of the semi-finals of the CAF Confederation Cup which Zamalek thrashed Dreams FC of Ghana 3-0 in Kumasi due to injury.
The skipper of Zamalek, Mahmoud Shikabala will miss the CAF Confederation Cup final against RS Berkane due to a muscle injury sustained during training.
The former Egyptian International is expected to be out for 4-6 weeks, per multiple sources from the Egyptian media and it will take a miracle to to see him in the finals.
His absence will hit hard Zamalek because he has immense experience which can help Zamalek win the cup.
RS Berkane will play Zamalek in the first leg in Morocco on 12th May with the return leg scheduled to be played in Cairo on 19th May.
