Gladson Awako will not feature in Accra Hearts of Oak’s CAF Champions League on-off tie game against Kamsar, according to a report by Phobianews.
The former Great Olympics star who did not take part in Hearts’ defeat to Togolese champions and newly promoted side Accra Lions, has not trained with the team throughout the week.
The reports indicate that Awako has been battling a minor illness for the past few weeks.
Ghana Premier League Champions, Accra Hearts of Oak SC will play CL Kamsar of Guinea in a single match on September 19, 2021, at the Accra Sports Stadium with the winner of the tie set to advance to the next stage of the 2021/22 Total Energies CAF Champions League.
