Accra Hearts of Oak head coach Kosta Papic has advised his rivals to be ‘very careful’ in their Caf Champions League reverse fixture against Sudanese giants Al Hilal.
The Porcupine Warriors departed the country early Sunday morning for Ethiopia before they landed in Sudan on Monday for their game on Wednesday in Omdurman.
Coach Johnson Smith’s side lost the first leg encounter to the Sudanese Club in Accra by a lone goal and would have to better their performance and get a better score line to have any hope of qualifying for the group stages.
“It is very difficult to play football in Sudan because I have played against them, ”Papic told KUMASI FM 104.1MHZ.
He further said ”Kotoko must be very careful because it is not easy to play in Sudan and the worst part of everything is that they lost at home but if they manage to score a goal that will be very good for them, everything is possible.”
With their 0-1 defeat at home before Christmas, the Red and Whites must secure a win in Sudan to have any chance of making the group stage of the CAF Champions League 2020-21 season.
