Arsenal managed to get a comfortable 3-0 victory over Oxford United in the FA Cup third round on Monday evening but fans were left unimpressed for a few reasons, particularly the midfield in the absence of Thomas Partey.
Eddie Nketiah was the star of the show, scoring twice whilst Mohammed Elneny added another but fans were wishing for quality without the presence of Thomas Partey.
Mikel Arteta started Lokonga and Elneny with Fabio Vieira in midfield. Lokonga in particular was poor according to the fans and they believe that a new midfielder should be signed in January to make up for any case where Thomas Partey would be absent.
The Ghanaian has scored twice for the Gunners this season.
