Former Asante Kotoko midfielder Kwame Bonsu has also reported the club to the Ghana Football Association’s Players Status Committee for failure to adhere to provisions in his contract when he signed for them.
Oyerepa FM reports that the player received no contract fee when he joined the club but rather agreed to take 30% of any onward transfer he makes out the country.
However, Kotoko failed to honor their part of the bargain when the player was transferred to Esperance thus the player resorting to the Player and coaches Status Committee to seek justice.
In a related development, Club Consult Africa who also were entitled to 20% of the transfer, are demanding such with Closemarking Consult who brokered the settlement between Kotoko and Esperance also in the court of law demanding their 20% share of the transfer from Asante Kotoko to Tunisia giants Esperance.
