Ghanaian giants Asante Kotoko have officially written to the world football governing body to notify them of the conduct of Algerian football club USM ALGER with regards to the transfer of their former talisman Kwame Opoku.

The Black Stars striker joined USM Alger on a four-and-half year deal from Asante Kotoko for a transfer fee reported to be in the region of €500,000.

The Algerian club have failed to honor their obligation to pay the transfer fee of €500k to Asante Kotoko and all diplomatic efforts adopted by the management of Asante Kotoko to the Algerian club have fell on deaf ears.
KUMASI 104.1 FM on Tuesday morning, reported that the legal team of Asante Kotoko has officially written to petition FIFA to intervene and get USM Alger to as a matter of urgency pay the transfer fee.
The lethal striker has scored two goals and provided two assists in his 6 game outings for USM Alger in his maiden season.
