Ghana’s senior national football team, the Black Stars, ended their Unity Cup 2025 journey on a high note with a big 4-0 win over Trinidad and Tobago. The match took place at the G-Tech Stadium in Brentford, West London, as part of the third-place playoff.
It was a strong performance from the Black Stars, who bounced back after losing 2-1 to Nigeria in the semi-finals. This time, they showed great teamwork, skill, and energy throughout the game.
Captain Jordan Ayew opened the scoring, giving Ghana the early lead. Three young players—Razak Simpson, Mohammed Fuseini, and Lawrence Agyekum—also found the back of the net, each scoring their first-ever goal for the national team. Their goals helped seal a comfortable and confident victory for Ghana.
Another exciting moment came when 19-year-old Abdul Aziz Issah made his senior national team debut. The Barcelona B midfielder came on in the 66th minute, replacing Lawrence Agyekum. His appearance was a proud moment in his growing career.
The win gave fans something to cheer about and showed that the future of Ghana football looks bright, with many young players stepping up and making their mark.
