Ghana have moved up to 49th position in the latest Coca-Cola FIFA Ranking released on Thursday 4th March, 2019.
The four-times African champions moved three places up the log which has seen them surpass countries like Norway, Bulgaria and Montenegro.
The Black Stars beat the Harambee Stars of Kenya in the final 2019 Cup of Nations qualifier last month and also cut Mauritania Mauritania to size by beating them 3-1 in a friendly game.
Kwasi Appiah’s side however, remains 6th behind Senegal, Tunisia, Nigeria, Morocco and Dr. Congo on the African continent.
