Al Jazira forward Ernest Asante is delighted with his debut call-up into the Black Stars ahead of the 2019 Afcon final qualifier match against Kenya.
The sprinter has been named in Coach Kwesi Appiah’s 24-man squad to face the Harambee Stars of Kenya at the Accra Sports Stadium on 23rd March, 2019.
Speaking exclusively to SportsworldGhana.com on his invite, the UAE based tormentor said ” Of course my call-up into the Black Stars team is a dream come true. Some people even believe this should have happened long time ago including you interviewing me but I think it has happened at the time God wants.”
He joined the United Arab Emirates side from FC Nordsjælland in the 2018 Summer transfer.
The 31-year old winger who continuously made dominated headlines while playing Norwegian side Stabæk has netted 5 goals in 15 caps this season for
Al Jazira UAE Arabian Gulf League.
