BFC Dynamo have strengthened their squad with the acquisition of 25-year-old Ghanaian defender Larry-Nana Oellers, who joins on a free transfer from Viktoria Berlin.
The addition comes as the club prepares for the upcoming Regionalliga season, with Oellers bringing not only versatility but also valuable leadership qualities to the side’s defensive setup.
Oellers enjoyed a productive spell at Viktoria Berlin, making 53 Regionalliga appearances across two seasons.
He was a consistent performer for the club until their recent relegation. Known for his composure and tactical intelligence, he became a vital figure at Viktoria, often praised for his reading of the game and strong presence on the pitch.
Capable of operating as a centre-back, right-back, or even as a defensive midfielder, Oellers has shown his adaptability throughout his career.
His previous stints with CFC Hertha 06, Brandenburger SC Sud 05, and TuS Makkabi further enhanced his experience within the German football system.
One of the highlights of his time with Viktoria was lifting the Berlin State Cup in 2023, a testament to his ability to perform on big occasions.
At Dynamo, he is expected to make an immediate impact, with club insiders describing him as a “defensive boost” who can stabilize the backline and add maturity to a relatively youthful squad.
