Ghana defender Baba Rahman lasted full throttle as Stade Reims walloped Montepellier 4-2 at the Stade de la Mosson in the French Ligue 1 on Sunday.
The left-back was making his second game for the club, since joining on loan from Chelsea in January and he impressed on the left side of defence as Reims traveled to pick all three points.
Daniel Cogre opened scoring for the hosts in the 7th minute but the lead lasted for only 20 minutes when Remi Oudin leveled for the visitors.
Abner Zeneli put Stade Reims into the just two minutes after the break from the spot.
Gaeten Laborde then pulled level for Montepellier in the 55th minute but Remi Oudin added his second on the day to send David Guion’s men in-front again.
Pablo Charravia completed the scoring for Stade Reims with a fine finish in the 88th minute.
The win sends Satde Reims to sixth position on the table with 41 points, same as Olympique Marseille on fifth position.
