Baba Alhassan played a crucial role in FCSB’s hard-fought 2-1 victory over Dinamo București in the Romanian Superliga on Sunday evening, finding the net in an important comeback win.
Dinamo București struck first in the 18th minute through Stipe Perica, but FCSB responded almost immediately, with Alhassan leveling the score just two minutes later. The teams went into halftime tied, but Jordan Gele’s 57th-minute goal ultimately secured all three points for the home side.
After the match, Alhassan shared his excitement about scoring and reiterated the team’s determination to stay at the top of the league standings. “It was a good evening for me, I had the opportunity to show what I can do. Before the match, I felt that I would score. My teammates also told me that I would score. It’s my first goal this season, and maybe more will come from now on. It was important to be able to score.”
The 25-year-old midfielder also highlighted his versatility, emphasizing his readiness to contribute in different roles whenever needed.
With his first goal of the season, Alhassan has now made 21 appearances, playing a key part in FCSB’s pursuit of the league title.
