Ghana’s Black Queens head coach Mercy insists her players are more smarter than their Nigerian counterparts.
Tagoe who led the Ghanaian female senior national team to a 2-0 defeat against Nigeria in an AWCON qualifier in midweek stressed that the Super Falcons just play with their physique but her players are better.
“We played well, tactically we were very disciplined we came to play football, unfortunately, the Nigerians are stronger and tougher than we are. But when it comes to intelligence we are far ahead of them.” Tagoe emphasized
“When you are playing away game it’s not easy so we are going back to the drawing board to correct our mistakes.”
The return leg is slated for Cape Coast Stadium in Ghana this weekend.
