Hearts of Oak’s Technical Director, Rene Hiddink, has deflected responsibility for the team’s recent results, urging inquiries to be directed to the board.
The Phobians have faced a challenging period with disappointing outcomes in recent matches.
Hearts of Oak are currently 7th on the Ghana Premier League table with 16 points.
On Wednesday, the club was kicked out of the FA Cup after losing on penalties to lower-tier side Nania FC.
When asked about the recent poor results by the club, Hiddink emphasized, ““Ask the board, not me, about the reasons for our recent results”
This statement suggests a possible disconnect between the coaching staff and the club’s leadership regarding the team’s performance.
Hearts of Oak will trek to Dormaa on Sunday to face Aduana Stars in Matchday 13 clash at the Nana Agyemang Badu Park.
