Ghanaian giants Kumasi Asante Kotoko SC will miss three key players for Legon Cities clash today at the Accra Sports Stadium.
The Porcupine Warriors will face Asamoah Gyan-led Legon Cities FC in the week five showdown in Accra tonight at 6pm.
The Red and Whites will be without their captain and first choice goalkeeper, Felix Annan who suffered a knee injury in the team’s week two encounter in Berekum against Chelsea three weeks ago.
Not only that, the Champions League side will also play without two key midfielders in the persons of 26-year-old Richard Senenu and 23-year-old Salifu Mudasiru who are both sidelined for the big clash today due to injuries.
The Kumasi-based team have played two games in the Ghana Premier League and three games in all competitions and are winless in both games played in the league after drawing 1-1 in their respective Ghana Premier League games against Techiman XI Wonders and Berekum Chelsea.
On the African continent too, the Porcupines are without a victory as they drew 1-1 away in Mauritania against FC Noaudhibou in the first leg of the Champions League qualifying game but did not play the second leg due to Covid-19 issues.
Asante Kotoko will be hoping to secure their first win of the season in three domestic games when they square off against their former coach Bashir Hayford who is now in charge of the Money Bags side.
