Ghanaian giants Asante Kotoko have parted ways with assistant coach Raphael Akakpo Patron with reasons unknown yet.
The former West African Football Academy SC (WAFA) trainer, who played for Kotoko between 1991 to 1995 joined the Kumasi-based club in 2017 as assistant coach and has worked under coaches like Paa Kwesi Fabin, CK Akonnor and currently Kjetil Zachariassen.
Patron’s contract with Kotoko was expected to come to an end in December 2019.
SportsworldGhana.com understands, the Porcupine Warriors, have already reached an agreement with former Coach Johnson Smith to replace Akakpo Patron.
