Ghana Premier League powerhouse Asante Kotoko SC have left Ghana for Sudan ahead of Tuesday’s international club friendly.
The Porcupine Warriors will face the Sudanese giant Al Hilal Omdurman in a pre-season friendly in Omdurman on August 23, 2022.
Kotoko are preparing for the 2022-23 Ghana Premier League season and the CAF Champions League after winning the 2021-22 Ghana Premier League title, which was their first in eight years.
They recently sold their deputy captain Imoro Ibrahim to the Sudanese club and will face him in the friendly match in two days time.
The Porcupine Warriors will return to Ghana to face MTN FA CUP winners Accra Hearts of Oak SC in the Super Cup clash on September 4, 2022 before the start of the season.
