The Government of Ghana is set to support clubs that qualify to the group stage of CAF club competitions with $250k, starting with Kumasi Asante Kotoko, SportsworldGhana.com understands.
Kotoko will now enjoy a huge financial support as the government looks ready to support them to go far in the 2018-2019 Caf Confederation Cup.
Sources within government say this will not only be limited Asante Kotoko as the government is institutionalizing it.
Other Ghanaian clubs that will subsequently qualify for the group stage of either the CAF Champions League or the Confederation Cup will be given the same amount of money
