Asante Kotoko head coach Prosper Narteh Ogum has officially unveiled his 20-man squad ahead of the eagerly anticipated Ghana Premier League matchday 6 clash against Legon Cities.
The match is set to take place on Wednesday, October 30, at the University of Ghana Stadium, and it comes after a rescheduling due to Kotoko’s recent trip to the USA.
The Porcupine Warriors have made a promising start to the season and are keen to maintain their momentum as they face Legon Cities. Currently, the team is focused on building on their solid performances, and Ogum’s squad reflects a blend of experience and youthful talent, crucial for the upcoming encounter.
The squad is led by goalkeepers Camara Mohammed and Frederick Asare, who are set to compete for the starting role. In defense, Ogum has included Joseph Ablorh, Justice Blay, Henry Ansu, Lord Amoah, Patrick Asiedu, and Gilbani Samba O’Neil, all expected to provide the backbone for a resilient defensive display.
In midfield, Emmanuel Kotei and Godfred Kodua are tasked with controlling the game and breaking up opposition play, while Kyei Dwamena Michael and Emmanuel Antwi offer additional versatility to the midfield structure. Up front, the attacking trio of Peter Amidu Acquah, Wisdom Fernando Bassey, and Saaka Dauda will lead Kotoko’s charge for goals, bringing pace and creativity to the team’s offensive play.
Ogum’s squad also includes Albert Amoah, Baba Yahaya, and Elvis Kyei Baffour, who add depth in both attacking and midfield roles. This mix of skill and determination positions Kotoko as strong contenders for the match.
