Ghanaian striker Antoine Semenyo has expressed his disappointment after Bournemouth’s 2-2 draw against West Ham in the Premier League.
The Cherries were hoping to grab all three points, but had to settle for just one after a closely contested game.
“It’s definitely frustrating,” Semenyo said after the match. “We came here with an objective to win. We dominated the game. It’s just frustrating.”
Despite the draw, the 24-year-old forward remained hopeful and focused on the bigger picture. Bournemouth are still in the race for European qualification, and every point counts as the season moves closer to its end.
“A point is better than no point. We can build on that going into next week’s game. We’re still pushing [for European football]. We need to pick ourselves up as a team and keep going,” Semenyo added.
Bournemouth will now turn their attention to the next match, looking to bounce back with a win and keep their European hopes alive.
