Black Stars captain Andre Ayew scored in Swansea City’s home defeat to Bristol City in the English Championship on Saturday afternoon.
The Ghanaian forward netted his tenth league goal of the campaign for the Jack Army’s in their 1-3 home loss to Bristol City.
The 31-year-old grabbed the opening goal of the match to put the hosts 1-0 up early in the second half from the spot after a goalless first 45 minutes.
Eleven minutes later, Nahki Wells leveled matters for the Red and Whites before Kasey Palmer added the second goal for the away team on the 80th minute mark.
Antoine Semenyo added the icing on the cherry when he grabbed the third goal in the 90th minute to inflict a 3-1 defeat on the Premier League hopefuls at the Liberty Stadium.
The Ghanaian international has scored ten goals with two assists in 29 matches for the Jack Army’s this season in the English Championship.
