Ghana international Andre Ayew failed to earn a spot in the EFL Championship Team of the season despite helping Swansea City to secure a play-off spot.
The Swansea City vice-captain has had a scintillating campaign this season, scoring 16 goals and provided 6 assists in 39 appearances across all competitions to help Steve Cooper’s side reach the Championship play-offs.

However, his statistics alone have not been enough to earn him a spot in the Team of the season announced on Thursday, 29th April 2021.

German international Daniel Farke who has guided Norwich City back to the English Premier League, picked the Coach of the season spot.
AFC Bournemouth goalkeeper Asmir Begović earned a place in the post with other four players from Norwich City making the list.
