Black Stars captain Andre Ayew found the net for Al Sadd in the Qatar Stars Cup but they lost 3-2 to Qatar SC.
The veteran scored the first goal of the game, finding the net inside 10 minutes. His team later added one more in the 15th minute.
But they collapsed in the second half, allowing three goals to lose all three points on the road.
Ayew has two goals and an assist in 7 appearances for Al Sadd in the season as they sit four points behind Group A leaders Umm-Salal meaning they have made the last four in the cup competition.
