Belgian giants Anderlecht will not force Ghanaian-born Belgian winger Francis Amuzu to leave the club this summer.
Despite a challenging season, Anderlecht has decided not to push Amuzu out during the summer transfer window. The 24-year-old forward struggled for playing time in the recently concluded campaign, fueling speculation about his future at Lotto Park.
Amuzu made only 12 appearances in the Belgium Jupiler Pro League, scoring three goals. Across all competitions, he featured in 24 matches and netted four goals.
His contract with Anderlecht runs until the summer of 2025. Despite his underwhelming performance this past season, the club’s leadership has chosen to retain him. However, Anderlecht is open to a transfer if a suitable offer is made that benefits all parties.
