French-based Ghana defender Alexander Djiku was a great guy on the field once again for Black Stars in the cliffhanger against Nigeria on Friday evening.
The 29-year-old Ghanaian international put his body on the line several times in the match to stop In-form Napoli striker, Víctor Osihem.
Djiku produced a flawless performance against the Super Eagles of Nigeria in the first leg of the 2022 FIFA World Cup playoffs.
He was one of the best players on the field and his partnership with Leicester City FC defender Daniel Amartey was as good as it could be.
He blocked vital attempted shots on goal by the Nigerians and was always on point and first to the ball throughout the game.
His last ditch tackles was as perfect as it could ever get and made sure Ghana kept a clean sheet in the all important game.
The return leg is on Tuesday evening in Abuja.
