Napoli provided news on Monday of their Nigerian striker Victor Osimhen, severely hit in the face in an air collision with Milan Skriniar of Inter Milan as Napoli were defeated 3-2.
The former Lille attacker sufferer from “multiple displaced fractures of the eye socket and the left cheekbone,” said the Neapolitan club.
After the match, he stayed one night under observation in a hospital in Milan and “will return to Naples in the evening” on Monday, the Naples club said.
“He will remain under observation and will be operated on tomorrow (Tuesday),” added in the statement.
