Aduana Stars bounced back from two consecutive defeats to beat Inter Allies by 2-1 during mid-week of the Ghana Premier League on Wednesday at the Agyeman Badu Park.
The two-time Ghana champions were on a two-game losing streak against Dreams FC (4-2 loss) and Ashantigold (4-0 loss).
Yahaya Mohammed scored his seventh goal of the season to put the home team in the lead just before half time and in the second period an own goal increased their lead to 2-0 in the 60th minute.
Inter Allies scored a consolation goal through Samuel Armah six minutes from full time but the scoreline will remain 2-1 in favor of the home team.
The Ogya Boys are still within the title race after Week 16 as they occupy the 3rd place with 24 points – four points adrift of leaders Karela United.
