Ghanaian midfielder Emmanuel Dzigbah has made a sensational move to Serbian topflight side Cucaricki ahead of the 2024/25 season.
The versatile left-footed midfielder has joined the club on an initial loan deal with the option of making the move permanent at the end of the campaign.
Dzigbah’s impressive performances for Accra Lions’ youth team in a U18 competition in Serbia caught the attention of Cucaricki, with the midfielder standing out in games against Red Star Belgrade and Cucaricki itself.
According to Cucaricki’s Technical Director Goran Grkinić, Dzigbah was “the best player” in both matches, prompting the club to quickly reach an agreement with Accra Lions.
Dzigbah made 27 appearances for Accra Lions in the league, including a standout performance against regional rivals Hearts of Oak. His dribbling and passing abilities have earned him a reputation as one of Ghana’s most promising young midfielders.
The 18-year-old is now set to join Cucaricki’s squad for the upcoming season, where he will look to make an impact and potentially make his move permanent at the end of the campaign.
