Accra Lions forward Dominic Amponsah has sealed a move to Georgian side FC Dila Gori.
The 18-year-old signed a deal to join the Erovnuli club from the Ghanaian outfit in the summer transfer window.
Amponsah moves to Europe after an outstanding season with Accra Lions, helping the Accra-based club finish second in the last campaign.
“18-year-old Ghanaian central striker Dominique Amponsah will protect the honor of our club. Dominik joined our team from his native Premier League team Accra Lions,” wrote the club, confirming the striker’s arrival.
He is expected to immediately play a role in the first team, having shown enormous qualities and technical ability as a teenager.
The talented forward, who also plays as a second striker, scored nine goals and delivered two assists in 43 matches for Accra Lions.
He becomes the latest to leave the club following the departure of midfielder Emmanuel Dzigbah to Cucaricki in Serbia.
