Abdul Awudu, the Ghanaian midfielder, has completed a noteworthy move to FC Vizela, a club in the Portugal Premiera Liga.
He joins from Valadares Gaia, a lower-division team, on a two-year contract, following successful negotiations and agreement on all terms, as announced last Tuesday.
The former Spartans FC player expressed his delight at this significant transfer and his eagerness to give his all for the Blue and Whites.
Speaking to the club’s media team, Abdul Awudu shared his excitement and emphasized his determination to contribute everything he can to the team’s success.
“I’m very happy to be here. I will do my best to help the team, just like any young player that has just arrived.”
The dynamic midfielder aims to maintain his impressive form in the upcoming season and establish himself as a beloved figure among Vizela’s supporters.
As mentioned in the club’s statement, he will initially start as a peripheral player in the youth squad, particularly the U-23 team, and will strive to earn his place in the first team through hard work and dedication.
Awudu has previously had experiences with Albacete, Unionistas B, and Moralo CP.
