Ghana’s Black Meteors attacker, Issah Abass has joined Croatie top-flight side NHK Rijeka on loan from Germany Bundesliga side Mainz 05.
The former Asokwa Deportivo SC attacker has penned a one-year deal with the Blue and Whites outfit and will spend the 2021-2022 season playing in the Croatia top-flight.
Abass joined Dutch Eredivisie side FC Twente on loan last season and have been shipped out by the Red and Whites team for another season.
The 22-year-old Ghanaian forward also spent the 2019-20 season on loan at FC Utrecht in the Netherlands top-flight and was a delight to watch throughout his stay at the club.
The versatile attacker joined Mainz 05 in 2018 from Slovenia side Olimpija Ljubljana, a year after he joined from Deportivo but is yet to have a breakthrough at the German side.
