West African Football Academy (WAFA) SC youngster, Issah Basit was adjudged Man-Of-The-Match in his team’s victory over Chelsea in Berekum.
The young attacker scored in his second consecutive game for WAFA for the first time in the 2020-21 Ghana Premier League season when he scored the winner for the Academy Boys.
After a 2-2 stalemate in the first half of the match, Basit scored three minutes into the second half to win the game for the travellers who returned to Sogakope with all three points.
Abdul Basit Issah is the first player of WAFA SC to win two consecutive man of the match awards in the GPL – week 21 and week 22
He has also scored in two consecutive games against Eleven Wonders and Berekum Chelsea
