Ghanaian striker William Opoku Mensah put up a superb performance on Wednesday on his maiden game for second side of Mukura Victory Football Club despite their 4-0 defeat to APR FC in a friendly game.
The talented forward stole the show at the Kigali International Stadium with some breathtaking display despite his club’s heavy defeat.
The new Mukura Victory attacker who operated from the left-wing and later as a number “10” remained a torn in the flesh of the APR defenders with his pace, power, artistry and fantastic passes.
Opoku won the applauds of the management of his club for his excellent display as they believe he can even get better when the league starts this weekend.
“It was a great game for me. The board of directors talked to me after the match and they were happy with my performance and they are confident I will propel the team to victory in the league this weekend.” Opoku Mensah told sportsworldghana.com.
“Now the focus is on Saturday. I want to help the main team to get all the three points on my league debut.”
Mukura Victory will host Sunrise FC on match day one of the Rwandan Primus Premier League at Stade Huye in Southern Province.
