Stalwart Ghanaian Center-back, Jonathan Mensah has been named in the CONCACAF Champions League best XI for round one games.
The Black Stars defender, Mensah scored as Columbus Crew whip Real Esteli in CONCACAF Champions League away from home as they booked their tickets to the next stage of the competition on a 5-0 aggregate score.
After helping the Major League Soccer champions keep clean sheet in their first-round matches in the competition, the Ghanaian’s performance couldn’t have been overlooked and deservedly walked into the best team of the first round.
The 2009 FIFA U-20 Champion and captain of the Black and Yellows has been a pivot for his team since he joined in 2015 and led them to the MLS giant trophy last year and would be hoping to help his side secure the continental trophy as well.
