Ghanaian midfielder, Thomas Boakye was adjudged Man-Of-The-Match in his team’s victory over at home on Sunday evening.
The versatile player, Boakye dazzled on his Sweden Allsvenskan debut for his team Halmstads BK as they secured a narrow but vital win over Hacken BK at home.
The Ghanaian played as a right side-midfielder for the Blue and Whites side as they won their first game of the season in the top-flight in their first outing and was in fine shape for the club.
The 27-year-old played full throttle unlike fellow Ghanaian, Sadat Karim who was substituted with quarter of the match.
Six minutes to the end of the match, Boakye set up Mikael Boman who’s right-footed shot from the center of the goal area went straight into the bottom right corner to win the game for the home team.

Boakye picked his first assist of the season in the Swedish top-flight (Allsvenskan) in his first game of the campaign to set his team up for a crucial win.
