Talented Ghanaian teenager Richard Duke-Abaidoo has signed for South African National Division 1 side Sternberg United FC.
Duke-Abaidoo moves to the South African second-tier club from Ghanaian Division 2 club Soccer Elites based in Ekumfi-Atakwa on a one-year deal.
Duke-Abaidoo impressed on a two weeks trials before getting the deal and he is hoping to make his mark.
“I am very glad for this move. It is a perfect platform for me to market myself.” Duke-Abaidoo told SPORTSworldGhana.com.
“I am hoping to do my best by scoring goals to help the club move up the log.” Duke added.
Duke-Abaidoo was courted by some Spanish Segunda B teams in the summer but the Coronavirus Pandemic served as an obstacle for his move as there were travel restrictions in the European country
