Swedish side Mjällby AIF has completed the signing of experienced 30-year-old Ghanaian midfielder Enoch Kofi Adu from AIK.
The midfielder comes joined from AIK and has signed a contract until the end of 2022 season.
Ghanaian Enoch Kofi Adu began his career outside his native Ghana with a sojourn in French Nice. There were no matches for Adu during his two years in France, but it was instead a move to FC Nordsjaelland where he made 79 matches and participated in all of the club’s all six matches in the Champions League 2012/2013.
After the 2013 season, theGhanaian joined Club Brügge inBBelgium where he played 18 matches before the midfielder made his debut in Scandinavian football with a season in Norway at Stabaek in 2014.
It was then time for Enoch Kofi Adu to start his Sweden stay when he signed for Malmö FF. It was three successful seasons in Skåne where he participated and won two Swedish Championship golds during his sixty matches for the club.
After three seasons in Sweden, Adu made a trip to Turkey where he was only featured in three matches during the 2017 season for Turkish team Akhisar Belediyespor. There was no continuation in Turkey but instead Adu was back in the Allsvenskan and signed a three-year contract with AIK and won the Swedish Allsvenskan in 2018, after last year’s season, Adu left AIK after 77 matches for the club.
Enoch Kofi Adu joins Mjällby AIF as a vastly experience player and has signed a contract until the end of 2022 season.
