Accra Great Olympics defeated Asante Kotoko 1-0 on Thursday afternoon at the Accra sports stadium in a Ghana Premier League outstanding league match.
Michael Yeboah scored the only goal of the game on the cross of Gladson Awako who was largely unplayable in the contest.
“First of all let me congratulate Great Olympics. They played very well especially the first half better than us. We came in strongly in the second half trying to eqalize. Like I said the season is still young. We can still bounce back.” the Kotoko gaffer said after the game.
Gladson Awako who assisted the Olympics goal was voted Most Valuable Player of the match.
