Ghana’s U-20 male team- Black Satellites on Wednesday defeated Division 2 side Asekem FC 2-1 in a friendly match at the Ghanaman Soccer Center of Excellence- Prampram.

The game forms part of the team’s preparation’s for next month’s WAFU U-20 Qualifying tournament which will be staged in Togo.
Captain Daniel Afriyie Banieh and Precious Boah scored the two goals for the Satellites team with Benjamin Awuah grabbing the consolation goal for Asekem FC.

In a virtual draw held in Abidjan on Tuesday, coach Karim Zito’s side were handed a tough draw as they were paired against Nigeria who placed third at the last U-20 AFCON and Ivory Coast.
The WAFU ‘B’ U-20 Qualifying tournament will be staged between November 14-29, 2020.
