Ghanaian youngster Basiru Alhassan has debunked reports in the media that he has signed for Fujairah FC.
Basiru who is currently a free agent after leaving Al Wasl this summer emphasized that he has not signed for the “Red Wolves” so people should disregard such news.
“Honestly, I do not know where that news is coming from and who gave people that information. I have not signed for Fujairah.” Basiru told SPORTSworldGhana.com.
“My representatives are currently talking with some teams and Fujairah is even not part, so people should treat any news that I am currently their player with a pinch of salt.”
Basiru, 20, featured eight times for Al Wasl this ended season before his contract came to an end.
The talented defensive midfielder previously played for Mighty Jets, Dreams FC and Czech giants Sparta Prague.
