Medeama SC have finally agreed to honour the Normalization Committee’s Special Competition.
The Mauves and Yellow had initially pulled out to the competition after pitted in the Northern Zone.
But a meeting with the Normalization Committee has seen the issue resolved with the Tarkwa based club announcing their willingness to participate in the 16-team competition which is expected to kick this weekend.
The Normalization Committee organized the special competition to keep players active after all football activities were halted.
This forms part of the committee’s plans to help normalize football in the country after getting the mandate from the World Football governing body (FIFA) to replace the Ghana Football Executive Committee.
The Competition will also be used to select representatives for African’s Inter Club Competition next year.
