Bournemouth and Ghana striker Antoine Semenyo says his rise to Premier League success is no miracle — it’s the result of years of consistent hard work.
He revealed that during the off-season, he trained privately with a personal coach to perfect his finishing and power with both feet.
“I’ve just been working on it,” Semenyo told his trainer, Saul Isaksson-Hurst, during a recent session. “I know where I want to be, and I have to put in the hours.”
The coach praised him for his commitment, saying, “Antoine’s shooting is unbelievable — he’s strong with both feet, and his finishing is unplayable”, he told skysports football.
That dedication is now showing on the pitch. Semenyo has already scored six goals this season, including a stunning brace against Liverpool on opening day.
