English League 1 side Reading FC have acquired Ghanaian midfielder Daniel Kankam Kyerewaa following the expiration of his contract with German second-tier side Preussen Munster.
The 23-year-old talent joined the Royals on a two-year deal. Previously, he played for the Düsseldorf and Schalke youth teams.
Reading manager Noel Hunt was elated with the signing of Kyerewaa as he praised his football abilities.
“Daniel is a really exciting addition to our group,” Royals boss Noel Hunt told the Press
“He’s got a great engine, he’s creative and he’s played in a strong development environment in Germany. We believe he’s got the tools and the drive to make a big impact here.”
Kyerewaa is naturally an attacking midfielder but is also capable of operating from both wings. He is yet to be capped by Ghana or Germany at any level.
