Academy midfielder Lloyd Ofori-Manteaw has signed his first professional contract at Norwich City.
The 18-year-old English midfielder of Ghanaian origin, has signed until 2026, with a club option, and featured for both the Under-21s and Under-18s during the 2024/25 season.
Signing his first professional deal, Ofori-Manteaw said: “I’m over the moon to sign this, it’s something you work towards as a kid. All you want to do is become a professional footballer. Without God, my family and friends, I wouldn’t be in this position.
“Last season, I thought I progressed well. I obviously transitioned from playing centre-back into playing midfield, so I managed to develop more attacking skills and managed to score quite a few goals.
“Moving up into the Under-21s and playing there was good to get that feel of how it could be, ahead of this season coming up. I felt with my Under-18s performances, I deserved the chance to step up and now it’s time to push on.
“I’m excited to get going in pre-season again, see all the boys and see how we can develop throughout the season.
“I want to maximise myself this season and get as many minutes under my belt as I can and push on progress to see what happens.”
