Former Black Stars winger Samuel Owusu played a pivotal role in OFK Beograd’s commanding 3-0 home victory over Jedinstvo Ub in the Serbian Super Liga on Sunday afternoon, contributing both a goal and an assist.
Owusu entered the match in the 71st minute and delivered an outstanding performance, helping the Blue and Whites secure an emphatic win at the Stadion Omladinski.
Following a goalless first half, OFK Beograd made strategic changes, including the introduction of the former FK Cukaricki star, to bolster their attacking options.
Serbian international Filip Stojilkovic broke the deadlock in the 62nd minute, setting the stage for Owusu, who found the back of the net with a brilliant strike just three minutes later to double their advantage.
The 29-year-old then combined with Stefan Scepovic to seal the victory with a third goal in the final moments, ensuring OFK Beograd claimed third place on the league table after match-week 29.
Owusu has now recorded three goals and two assists in 17 league appearances for OFK Beograd this season.
