Asante Kotoko has bolstered their defense with the signing of Guinean-based Ghanaian defender, Joseph Ablorh, in the ongoing transfer window.
The 26-year-old center-back joins the Porcupines as a free agent after ending his five-year stint with Guinean giants, Hafia Club.
Ablorh’s contract with Hafia ended on June 30, 2024, and he has since joined Kotoko ahead of the upcoming football season. During his time with Hafia, Ablorh had an instrumental campaign in the Guinean top-flight, playing a crucial role in defense as the team finished second in the league behind Milo FC.
The Ghanaian defender was also named in the team of the season for the Guinea National Championship 2020/2021, a testament to his impressive performances.
Ablorh has played for Hafia in the Guinean league for the past five seasons and is expected to bring his experience and skill to Kotoko’s backline.
With Ablorh’s arrival, Kotoko’s defense has received a significant boost, and fans will be eagerly anticipating his debut in the upcoming season.
