Unistar Academy Wizkid Suraj Rayies Thrilled with Promotion to Division One League
Unistar Soccer Academy wonderkid Suraj Rayies has expressed his delight after his side secured qualification
to the Ghana Division One League on Sunday.
The Kasoa based Academy defeated Metro Stars 4:3 on Penalties in the Finals of the Division One Zone Two Middle League played at the Robert Mensah Sports Stadium in Cape Coast.
However, Speaking to Sportsworldghana.com in an Exclusive interview from his base in Kasoa, The 18-year-old who has been tremendous for Unistar Academy all season insists He’s very Happy to be part of such a great achievement.
” I’m really Happy we qualified for Division One. We were determine to make it and at the end it came to past. It’s a great achievement and Happy to be part, Suraj Rayies told Sportsworldghana.com
” I think determination like I said played a huge role and also my teammates showed great commitment which helped. The Coaches and management also did great job. It’s amazing and we thank Allah for everything.’
The left-footed attacking midfielder who dazzled the Fans at the Robert Mensah stadium with His amazing skills and pace noted that playing in the Division One league won’t be easy but insists they are ready for the battle.
“I am aware the Division One league is not easy but with this great players and management we are sure of making a huge impact. We’re ready!
When asked if there’s any plans of qualifying for the Premier League , The youngster who’s a target for Ghana Premier League Side Ashanti Gold Sporting Club Said: ” Of course, We want to play in the premier league and we’ll work towards that It’s step by step with Allah everything is possible.
