Henry Addo, a Ghanaian winger, has earned a spot in the first team of MSK Zilina for the upcoming 2023/24 season after impressing with the club’s youth setup last season.
Addo’s outstanding performances in the UEFA Youth Champions League last season made him a standout player and led to his promotion to the senior squad. His impressive displays have earned him a three-year contract with the Slovakian club.
The talented teenager was invited to join the senior team for pre-season training, where he stood out as one of the top ten performers during the preparation period.
Addo showcased his skills by scoring a goal in a friendly match against Austrian side Wolfsberger AC and played a prominent role in all four matches during the three-week training camp.
He has now been included in the squad for the UEFA Conference League qualifier against Estonian club FCI Levadia, scheduled for Thursday.
As Zilina aims to secure a place in the group stage of the European competition, the former Kumasi High player is expected to play a crucial role for the team.
