Experienced Ghanaian central defender Godfred Asante is happy at Ethiopian Premier League side Dire Dawa FC.
Asante, 32, had been agree agent since January after a short stint in Saudi Arabia.
The former Horoya FC guardsman trained with Dire Dawa and he was handed a two-year deal.
“I have already scored my first goal and I am doing well. Ethiopia is a great country and I am enjoying my football.” Asante told SportsworldGhana.com exclusively.
He is expected to play a key role this season as they hope to finish in the top ranks.
Asante also previously played for teams including Kotoko, Olympics and Dreams FC.
